De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek is looking for a Paralegal to support its Corporate practice. Corporate is one of the largest practices of De Brauw, providing services to a range of international and domestic corporate clients and financial institutions on a broad spectrum of high-end corporate and commercial matters. You will be working in a young, dynamic and international team, to whom you will provide hands-on legal support.

About the role

As a Paralegal, you will be providing our Lawyers (advocaten and (kandidaat-notarissen) with extensive legal support, which includes legal research, drafting of documents, preparing statements and supporting transactions. You will also be responsible for administrative tasks and make creative use of templates and models. In this highly diverse role, you take the initiative in structuring the workload and are innovative in coming up with smart ways of working, or ideas to simplify our activities.

Therefore, together with our Legal Advisers, Legal Project Managers and other professionals you will be providing integrated service to our business and make sure we can operate effectively as a firm.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate for this position:

• has a Bachelor-Law Degree or HBO Legal qualification (or experience in a similar paralegal role);
• experience in assisting lawyers or other professional specialists is a plus;
• is interested in corporate law;
• has excellent drafting skills;
• has good command of English and Dutch (written and spoken);
• is eager and excited to learn;
• is well organised;
• is assertive and pro-active;
• is highly flexible;
• is result-orientated.
