Birgit Snijder-Kuipers appointed professor of Corporate Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering

Birgit Snijder-Kuipers has been appointed professor of Corporate Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering at Radboud University as of 1 July 2022. She will hold the Van der Grinten Chair, a rotating professorship affiliated with the Radboud Business Law Institute.

Birgit states, "I am honoured to be appointed professor by the Radboud University. I look forward to researching anti-money laundering and the financing of terrorism from an international perspective with a focus on private law, and contributing to the corporate and financial law programme of the Radboud Business Law Institute".

Birgit is a specialist in anti-money laundering legislation, and founder of the De Brauw AML practice group. Birgit completed her PhD on the transfer of legal form of a legal entity at the University of Groningen in 2010. She is the author of numerous publications on anti-money laundering and corporate law, and a regular speaker at conferences.
