De Brauw appoints Jasper van Uden as partner

De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek has appointed Jasper van Uden as partner as of 1 March 2025. With his vast public law practice, Jasper brings with him a wealth of experience.

Jasper van Uden

Jasper is an expert in public law. He specialises in complex issues arising in energy law, environmental law and general public law, with a strong and clear focus on climate and sustainability projects. He has extensive experience with a broad scope of regulatory issues, especially in politically sensitive areas and enforcement matters. Jasper advises and represents vital state-owned and large private companies and plays a key role in major energy transition projects. He has regular contact with competent authorities and regulators, and represents clients in administrative law proceedings. He has worked on several important matters, including: the Porthos and Aramis CO2 storage projects; the realisation of the hydrogen network in the Netherlands; and the obtaining of nature permits for the Royal Schiphol Group airports.
