De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek welcomes Else Loop-Rowel and Zeynep Ortac as counsel. They will take up their new positions per 1 June 2024.

Else Loop-Rowel
Else started her career with De Brauw in 2014. She specialises in Dutch and EU financial markets regulation, in particular advising banks, insurance undertakings, fintech companies and other financial service providers on a wide range of financial regulatory topics such as licence requirements, governance, capital requirements, outsourcings, fit and proper testing and supervisory investigation trajectories. Else has also gained significant experience in national and cross-border M&A transactions involving financial undertakings and regulatory approval procedures related thereto.
Zeynep Ortac
Zeynep joined De Brauw in March 2018 as part of the EU competition law practice and has been working from De Brauw’s Brussels office since 2019. She represents clients before the European Commission in complex merger control proceedings and coordinates multijurisdictional merger filings for global transactions. Her main areas of practice also include cartels, vertical restraints and abuse of dominance, as well as follow-on litigation.
