De Brauw has contributed to the 2023 editions of Getting the Deal Through - Private Equity (Transactions) and Private Equity (Fund Formation).

Getting the Deal Through is a reference guide published by Lexology, with Atif Azher of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP as consulting editor. The publication provides reference guides on a range of legal topics in a practical Q&A format, enabling a side-by-side comparison of different jurisdictions. The Private Equity (Transactions) chapter presents an overview of the key legal topics for dealmakers approaching private equity transactions in the Netherlands, including transaction structuring, key purchase agreement provisions, participation of target company management and financing considerations. The Private Equity (Fund Formation) chapter deals with all key aspects of fundraising and regulation of private equity funds in the Netherlands – including choice of vehicle, formation process and licensing considerations.

The Transactions chapter was co-authored by Lennard Keijzer, Pete Lawley, Frank Hamming, Alexandra Wijdeveld and Lisa Chee, and the Fund Formation chapter by Mariska Enzerink and Abe Stegenga.
