Michael specialises in public and private M&amp;A, acting for listed companies and private multinationals divesting businesses, and assisting in acquiring new business domestically and abroad. He also advises private equity clients on both sellside and buyside processes, including minority investments. 
Michael has been involved in several public offers in recent years and regularly advises clients on takeover regulation and the role and responsibilities of boards. He is a trusted adviser on corporate governance, securities law, and disclosure matters.
Michael has particular expertise in the regulated energy and financial sectors. He advises several state owned enterprises and the Dutch state, and is active at the intersection of the public and private sector.

Yi is a partner at De Brauw’s Corporate M&amp;A practice. He is experienced in general corporate and M&amp;A matters, specialising in private M&amp;As, joint ventures, and carve-out transactions. Prior to joining De Brauw, Yi practised law at both US and Chinese law firms in China. 
Drawing on his diverse practice, Yi is highly valued for his experience in complex M&amp;As and cross-border transactions. His Chinese background adds legal and cultural depth to transactions involving Chinese companies. In addition to his legal expertise, clients also prize Yi's financial skills, which help bridge the gaps across different M&amp;A workstreams. 
Yi received his LLM degrees from New York University and National University of Singapore. Yi is admitted to practice in California (US) and holds the Chinese lawyer qualification.

Roos manages those cases where the transactional aspects of intellectual property rights are a central element of the matter. She has over nine years of experience in the IP practice and is a seasoned transactional lawyer. She advises on, negotiates and drafts IP-related agreements and structures. Roos is closely connected to De Brauw's Corporate department, and forms part of multidisciplinary teams for M&amp;A-related matters, financing and restructuring. Roos is often is involved in matters where intellectual property law, contract law and competition law intersect. Stephanie is a member of De Brauw's IP/Tech team. She represents clients in technology-driven matters, ranging from patent infringement/invalidity actions and other IP-related conflicts, to transactional work. She is a registered representative for the Unified Patent Court.
Stephanie has many years of international experience and special expertise in the life sciences sector, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry and pharmaceutical patents. She began her life sciences career as an academic and obtained her PhD in pharmaceutical chemistry – titled "Application of free energy calculations for drug design" – in 2012, and subsequently qualified as a lawyer. 
Stephanie has worked in the international IP practice ever since, and has assisted many international clients with Dutch, pan-European and US-related matters and strategies. Before joining De Brauw, Stephanie worked for other large law firms in Amsterdam, and also as a USPTO patent agent in New York for several years. 
Stephanie has been recognised as Rising Star 2023 by Managing IP's IP Stars.

Since joining De Brauw, Henk has advised numerous multinationals and private equity clients on public and private transactions, leveraged buy-outs, complex cross-border transactions, corporate restructurings, (re-)financings and the structuring of management incentive plans.
Legal 500 has recognised Henk as a "leading individual", with Chambers stating that Henk is "up and coming". In 2020, 2021 and 2023, Henk was nominated by MenA.nl (the Dutch M&amp;A awards) as the Netherlands' best M&amp;A tax adviser.

Helen has extensive experience in all aspects of competition law, including merger control, cartels, dominance, vertical restraints and state aid. Clients value her in-house and private practice expertise, which allows her to understand business drivers and offer clear and practical advice, even in the most complex of matters. She has particular expertise and interest in digital markets, including mergers in this field and the convergence of competition law with consumer and data protection. She also advises on competition law issues in a wide variety of other sectors, including life sciences, energy, industrial/chemical and sustainability.
Helen joined De Brauw in September 2018, moving from her position as Director Competition Law at Akzo Nobel NV, where she was responsible for competition law and merger control matters globally. Prior to this, Helen spent 12 years advising clients on competition law at two international law firms in London, Brussels and Amsterdam. She has worked extensively with economists across a range of matters.
