On Thursday 9 May 2024, Ferrovial announced the commencement of trading in its ordinary shares on US listing venue Nasdaq. The listing on Nasdaq follows Ferrovial's redomiciliation to the Netherlands and listing on Euronext Amsterdam last year and marks another significant step in Ferrovial's international strategy to position itself for future growth as a multinational company.
Ferrovial has been present in the US for over twenty years, building a substantial portfolio of infrastructure assets. Ferrovial believes that this milestone will highlight the value of its assets and projects to US investors with an interest in the infrastructure sector. Ferrovial is the first company in the Spanish IBEX 35 index to list its ordinary shares on Nasdaq. Ferrovial's ordinary shares will continue to be listed and traded in Spain and the Netherlands.
The Ferrovial Group is an international group engaged in the business of developing and operating toll roads, airports, including for example New Terminal One at JFK Airport, and other transport and energy infrastructure, in mobility solutions, and in engineering and construction.
