Nicolás specialises in competition, litigation and arbitration (commercial and investor-state). Nicolás has substantial experience advising companies across various sectors and industries in relation to high-value commercial litigation and antitrust procedures before national and regional competition authorities. He has acted as counsel in arbitration proceedings under the ICC, ICSID, SIAC and UNCITRAL rules involving bilateral investment treaties, gas purchase agreements, joint ventures and other commercial contracts.
Prior to joining De Brauw, Nicolás worked at a large corporate law firm in Argentina, at national courts in Buenos Aires, and at the International Court of Justice in The Hague as a judicial fellow.
