Renate specialises in soft IP. She has led high-profile IP portfolio management cases, provided strategic advice to clients in devising litigation strategies, and guided them in executing such strategies effectively. Renate is also a member of the Dutch AIPPI group (VIE) and the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Law (BMM).

Combining her expertise in IP with general litigation cases, Renate has navigated a broad range of proceedings before Dutch courts. In doing so, she has gained valuable experience in Dutch procedural law. Before joining De Brauw Renate, worked as a clerk at one of the courts of appeal in the Netherlands and published a book on Dutch appellate procedure. As such, she is a valuable addition to any team dealing with court proceedings, from lower courts up to the Dutch Supreme Court level.
