Szilvia specialises in international and national arbitration and litigation, with a focus on commercial and public international law. She has acted for numerous listed companies and large multinational corporations, and is particularly experienced in advising clients regarding disputes in relation to foreign investment, financial services, energy, M&A and natural resources. Szilvia has acted as counsel in arbitrations under the ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, LCIA and NAI Rules, as well as Dutch state courts. She is a creative thinker with an eye for devising a litigation strategy that fits her client's business.
Szilvia also has corporate law experience. Before joining the Litigation & Arbitration group, Szilvia was part of De Brauw’s Capital Markets and M&A team advising on several IPOs and international mergers and acquisitions, and is still involved in such transactions from time to time.
